The Painters Project

A collaboration between myself and renowned photographer Eric Ceccarini, ‘The Painters Project’ explores the intersection between painting and photography. The project took course over a day at Ceccarini’s house in Ibiza, Spain.

Using the body as a canvas the painting takes on a new life, changing with every breath, the work transcends the traditional parameters of painting. The painter, photographer and model form a unique relationship, responding to each others artistry. Resulting in a few images, the painting is then washed away.

Technicolour Nights

In 2018, I had the pleasure of working with music producer Footshooter, on his upcoming EP ‘Technicolour Nights’. The rich organic mix of live instrumental samples and upbeat jazz influences, provided a field of inspiration for the artwork cover. Using found collage materials and graphic design techniques, a dreamscape was created depicting a vibrant textural world where the jungle meets the desert.

Limden Vineyard

Alexandra Ffion recently partnered with a local business Limden vineyard, to create a unique collection of wine labels. Following on the succession of previous designs by women artists from the community, each label features original artwork that reflects the vineyard's ethos and the beauty of the rich, fertile landscape.
